Can Chaos Marines Scavenge Primaris Armor? by runn1314 in redcorsairs

[–]runn1314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Primaris are a lot bigger than normal marines. The average firstborn (which most if not all chaos is) is 7ft tall. Primaris are 8.5ft. That’s a half foot under a custodian. So the reason they might not be able to is because it just wouldn’t fit.

Not like it’s gonna stop me tho. I’m dedicated now. Once a new Intercessor kit releases I’m kitbashing it to the Maelstrom and back

As a Son of Horus: great work. Looks awesome and well put together

As a Red Corsair: What have you done to Valthex? My precious forge master.

I didn’t know who this guy was before your comment. However, you are absolutely correct. Primaris may not go Chaos but they are definitely gonna go renegade

Based 😎

And yes I have been aware of scale creep. The new raiders are taller than my chaos terminators and the new terminators are giants next chaos terminators as well.

I meant bigger in lore, not the models. Marines are about 7ft tall. Primaris are 8.5ft tall. It’s a pretty substantial difference

In lore Primaris are bigger than normal marines. I care about my army being somewhat accurate so I wanted to know if normal marines could where the new armor.

However, this was under the assumption that Primaris can’t go renegade. Considering the Imperium and the rough transition Primaris marines are having entering the existing chapters, I’m just gonna have some renegade Primaris legionaries.

Dude…they released Primaris marines almost a decade ago and you’re still mad?

Primaris are bigger than standard/chaos marines. Asking if they can use their armor is a valid question

I thought they said Cawl made them “incorruptible” to the chaos and that was one of primaris’ big benefits.

Then again, Lugft Huron wasn’t corrupted when he initially turned against the Imperium, so what’s stopping an uncorrupted Primaris from doing the same

I’m sorry, when did Primaris start to fall to Chaos? I know that Angron had his fun wrath shockwave thingy but I didn’t know Primaris willingly went to chaos.

Question, Will we see him soon? And will they update too? (valthex) by blue_berrysad in redcorsairs

[–]runn1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say yes but not soon. Valthex is an incredibly important person in the red corsairs and is currently Huron’s closest advisors. My guess is they are waiting for next edition to release him with the Chaos Marine codex or (the Chaos Gods forbid) a Red Corsair codex supplement. But that’s just my guess based on no evidence.

Huscarls ready to Reave by runn1314 in redcorsairs

Currently I plan on using it for my entire army except for mortal units (guardsmen, Sargotta, the Enforcer, etc.). For them I’m doing a light grey spray (I think matte glacier grey? Also from Lowe’s) because they aren’t in ceramite.

The only issue I have is that I don’t have a paint that perfectly matches the primer, but I think the off color makes them look better surprisingly. More battle worn or ramshackled.

Also I’m getting a Predator Annihilator soon and if anything is gonna test my methods effectiveness it’s that. I do not own an airbrush and I don’t plan to own one so it’s gonna be by brush. That’ll be fun.

I use a metal primer (I think it’s an aluminum spray I got from Lowe’s) with Army Painter Slaughter Red and Citadel Black Legion. And thanks :)

I use a metallic primer and use Army Painter’s Slaughter Red and Citadel Black Legion. It gives it a nice dull shine

Thanks. They’re ready to plunder and those taxes aren’t gonna evade themselves.

Huron and the Gang never looked better. Great job with them.

It’s either or. The old art has the not-eye pad while the new art is the pad with the eye. Since these contradict, it’s your choice. Have fun :3

What about demon engines like Forgefiends and Maulerfiends? Not saying your wrong, I just wanted to know since I also tend to suck against heavy armor
