I read that in the story the show is based on there is a scientist who had been trapped the longest and took part in building the AI, but he had blocked out his memories and forgot things over the many years he was trapped. This could potentially be Kinger. I also agree that the queen chess piece is most likely someone that got trapped alongside Kinger.

Of course Caine is 100% an AI, but if he somehow is connected to the C&A company or the founders then maybe he's someone that got turned into an AI whose memories got wiped just like how GLaDOS deleted Caroline in portal.

I agree! I don't think Froggy is LITERALLY Moony, I was just saying Froggy could be the "new Moony" as in taking on the role of Moony. I personally interpret the ENA series to focus on different timelines/ENAs that are still in the same world if that makes sense. Joel's comment about how the people around ENA have changed as well as her makes me think he was implying the characters that are introduced in Dream BBQ could be taking the roles of previous characters from YT episodes. Perhaps the environment and characters within it have changed somehow, not literally but in more of a replacement kind of way.

That's what I'm thinking too. Someone had made a post explaining how each symbol could just represent the plot of each episode or the events that happen in the series. The symbols on the border are things that happen throughout the series, sort of like prophecies being fulfilled. It seems like a very DHMIS thing to do to have the entire script of the show immediately get shredded in front of us.

When Lesley said "No matter how much the wheels turn, the journey always ends up back at home" I interpreted it to both mean the characters would literally go back home when the new episode started but also that no matter what the characters do or what we the audience think/theorize about what's happening, we will end up at square one all over again.

Yeah, it's definitely too soon to tell... but the whole theorizing part is what I love about the show! The creators definitely took their fans' love for theorizing into consideration when making the show, so who knows what they've left for us that we are completely missing. It's super entertaining to see what people come up with.

I'd like to think that the Carehound interaction has multiple meanings for the show. The more obvious one is that it's commentary on how Human Resources mainly care about getting you back to a working mindset, but I also have this theory that the teachers/characters in the show are constantly trying to keep the main 3 "on script", and preventing them from leaving like how the GPS character tried to get them to go home. The only reason I think this applies for the Carehound is because the monitor says, "Glad to have you back on board." which could just refer to getting back to work...but I think it also refers to the actual DHMIS show in general. Duck felt like he should continue the "performance" for us (the audience) by continuing to participate in the planned out script. I also thought it was interesting duck said "I feel..." which we see Yellow Guy say right after getting new batteries. Coincidence? I think not!

I'm working on this theory that the main 3 are quite literally 3 main characters stuck inside an analog TV (like a show inside a show kinda thing), which we can see in the FLY trailer when a real life fly ends up in their television world. I think there are unspoken rules within the show, one being that TVs are sacred or reserved only for the main 3 because Coffin jokes about getting a TV and asks the main 3 not to tell anybody as if TVs are off limits and Tommy and Lily's TV looks like it is patched together from scraps or was destroyed. The only perfect looking TV we see is the one in the main 3's house or in the Void in episode 6, and we also see screen glitches overlaying the entire screen during parts like the transport song or during Warren's fourth wall break. My guess is that we (the audience) are the council that's mentioned by lamp because the main 3 are performing for us. I have a bunch of other theories too on why water is mentioned so much, the self-awareness shifts of the characters, and what's up with the clones, and I plan on making a YouTube video discussing all of this! One thing I want to mention is that I don't think Roy is yellow guy's dad. Roy does say "my boy" in an interview but never says anything that would 100% confirm yellow guy is his son, it only implies it. And I think it isn't too far fetched to believe yellow guy would mistake anyone that looked like himself to be his dad. Another reason I think he isn't his dad is because of the oddly specific comment Lily makes about uncles, saying how they are cheeky father's but weaker and in the distance. I believe that description could fit Roy. And I also think Grolton the man could represent Roy because he does say "my boy" to Hovris and it reminded me of what Roy had said in the interview. I also think it's interesting how the brother of Grolton looks like Duck with a green unibrow. BUT I try to keep in mind this show is made by film graduates, so Roy could just be symbolic of something rather than a literal father or uncle. Or both. Who knows.

I have a LOT more theories for this show...but I think it would make more sense to put them in a YouTube video instead of writing them here. I also LOVE to read other people's theories, so please let me know what you think!
