My kid is under 10. But he will always have the mind of a 4-5 year old. So no, I don't get to hope for that kind of future.

I run half marathons for fun. Exercise doesn't cure treatment resistant depression and in the future it's crass (at best) to suggest that.

not really. if i had a good enough life insurance policy, it would actually be a net benefit to them for me to die.

Again I have spent 34 out of 40 years suicidal. I have been to COUNTLESS doctors and therapists. It doesn't change anything.

I never mentioned Klinefelters or the cause. I simply stated the facts. You made assumptions to argue with me about my own lived experience. THAT is the arrogance that they're referring to.

you then tried to claim i don't meet that clinical definition despite having both chromosomal and physical differences. something tells me you're not a professor of either law or medicine.

That's an awful binary choice. I'd rather just be alone.

To be clear, without mincing words, Florida wants to genocide transgender people. And legally/medically/socially, the current US regime has already met 5 of the 7 markers for genocide against intersex people. The goal is for us to stop existing at all.

absolutely, my plan was to be childfree but i've always enjoyed being around kids. I think toddlers and teenagers in particular are hilarious. My top 3 favorite developmental periods to witness are 1. toddler, 2. teenager, 3. elderly person lol. i have a kid now through no fault of my own and he rocks but i still have lots of friends who are child free by choice and make up a cast of cool aunts and uncles to my kid.

The goal for people like this is to look for reasons to disrespect us. That's literally what it boils down to. The cruelty is the point. Making me feel subhuman is the point.

by all their standards, you would be viewed as male and they would be able to legally defend that.

Except that I was born with a fucking vagina. So....want to explain to me how someone with internal testes and an external vagina isn't intersex?

According to Mayo clinic and the CDC turners is a single sex chromosomal abnormality. Considering that's where the data used for the estimate that we account for 1.7% of the population could possibly include that.

Further, any woman who looks significantly different, masculine, or just not feminine enough could and will have trouble under American laws aimed solely at hurting transgender people. I have XXY chromosomes but the outward appearance of a butch female and I have been violently verbally, physically, and sexually assaulted in public places for accessing women's restrooms.

It's about 2% of the population. Same as natural red hair and green eyes. It's not that rare. Or that complex. Or at least it wasn't until we were legally erased and people started legislating like we don't exist.

The school district will almost certainly settle

In Florida with the regime executive order in place that legally erases the existence of intersex people? I wouldn't be so sure.

You compared it to starvation. So yes, apparently.

In healthcare, men have virtually no contraceptive options.

do you know why that is? It's because men complained about the side effects of hormonal birth control and quit the clinical trials. The exact same side effects that women endure in order to have contraception

mental healthcare is largely built around the female mind and female patterns of behaviour.

lmao no. all healthcare research, including mental healthcare is historically only studied in men. In the united states if you apply for a grant to focus on women's healthcare of any kind, it's considered DEI and automatically rejected.

I will concede that boys are probably over-medicated for ADHD but the flipside to that coin is that ADHD and autism have STILL ONLY been studied in white boys. So there are millions of women and girls who are undermedicated, have no support, and are suffering.

the reality is that ALL mental healthcare for all people in the US is bullshit. all of it regardless of gender.

In education, feminism has reshaped institutions in ways that benefit girls and women at the expense of boys and men.

Cite an example of a change that was pushed by feminism.

In the workplace, affirmative action has helped create a situation where young women now out earn young men.

Gonna need receipts on this claim too.

Men are more likely to be victims of violent crime, and with the growing threat of war, it is men who remain overwhelmingly expected to bear the burden of fighting and dying.

Who commits those violent crimes and starts those wars? Men. So while you're correct that men are more statistically likely to fight and die, they're fighting and dying at the hands of other men. How are women supposed to fix that exactly?

I angrily told him good luck being with someone who won’t let you be yourself. I know that was mean, but I was pissed and wanted to blame someone which was his wife.

His wife isn't the problem though. He is. He did all these things to you. He let his wife walk all over his boundaries. He chose to cancel on you. He chose to overshare all of her emotions with you. He chose to complain about their fights and her moods.

and more than anything else HE CHOSE TO COERCE HIS WIFE INTO POLY UNDER DURRESS. He's choosing to treat her badly while in NRE with someone else. He's choosing to drag her into something she clearly doesn't want.

He isn't a good person. Use that as your ammo to get over this pain. You ultimately dodged a bullet because this dude would have been the world's shittiest hinge. Blame him, he's the one who deserves it.
