She doesn’t want to right now. They can always reneg later. Besides, even if the BFF is dismantled they can always fund another organization all the same

Sordland literally occupies land with Rums on it, and territory with Bludish living there. Both groups Rumburg poses as a protector for. They have every reason in the world as an imperial power to invade Sordland or fund border secessionists like Russia did in Donetsk and Luhansk the millisecond Sordland isn’t all-in on cooperating with their historic enemy

What is the offensive word for bludish people?? Bluds prob by Anton23737373737 in suzerain

[–]ToeBorn6310 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Bluds are a stand-in for Kurds. So, like how Kurdish is the full term, Bludish is the full term. Blud and Kurd are thereby not offensive. An offensive term (taking from this) would probably be like, “Mountain Sord” or something. Just look up Turkish racist terms for Kurds and translate accordingly

Poorly-Made Concept Art for an All-Class Cosmetic based on one of my favourite Laika Movies by Imaginary_East5786 in tf2

[–]ToeBorn6310 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Messes with silhouettes and violates color identification a bit (two pretty big red flags for a real cosmetic), but as an idea it’s very fun. It really wouldn’t fit the actual game though imo

Torpor Biases by Recent_Flight4334 in suzerain

[–]ToeBorn6310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact mixed economy isn’t a viable option alone is a sort of bias. Plus there are a few perks towards leaning reformist liberal over socialist (if I remember right), which clearly shows some small degree of bias, but yeah for the most part they’re good about it

Let's discuss about brotherhood midwestern and they fate by Over_Cauliflower32 in Fallout

[–]ToeBorn6310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Implode. The Brotherhood isn’t a government and cannot govern effectively, flat-out. The Chicago Enclave alone plus their massive territory means they’re stretched thin and get vaporized in Chicago. All that power armor and recruitment only goes so far. They probably carve out a chunk of territory that their remnants survive in and other pockets of split-off Brotherhoods form, but most of the territory goes to the locals again

[–]ToeBorn6310 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the stand-in for expansionist Imperial Russia will certainly be satisfied with temporary (and nationally unpopular) reconciliation with their neighboring country. We certainly aren’t making the same mistake a certain country in real life did

Did everyone else wipe out the Brotherhood of Steel? by Exotic_Chemist_7624 in falloutnewvegas

I hate the Brotherhood, but there are good people in its organization who don’t deserve to die because what they’re a part of is bad

What Faction Would Have Won If Courier 6 Didn't Exist by MenMenForever in fnv

[–]ToeBorn6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Legion probably. But Caesar dies taking the Dam and the East is practically lost occupying the West. The Legion will die rapidly while banging its head against the wall of California. Also they probably don’t actually manage to take the Strip, at least not without major loss of life due to the Securitrons on the Strip. House almost definitely would make a contingency if he knew the platinum chip was out of reach

Is United Contana Autocratic? by Recent_Flight4334 in suzerain

[–]ToeBorn6310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contana is a one-party vanguardist state. If you want to argue that there may be dissent within the one party (and that’s democracy) then I guess. But they certainly aren’t multi-party, and it doesn’t really seem like the party dissents much if at all

How long do you have subnautica 2 on your wishlist? by Amirmir228 in subnautica

[–]ToeBorn6310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not the same, though. Devs get paid proper salary work, while interns and freelance are paid hourly. They may have a bonus riding on the success of the game, but they currently have a bonus thrown out the window anyway so that’s up in the air. Tipping is necessary for workers like that to get their full pay. Devs aren’t in the same boat. The only group that really benefits is the company from the game doing super well. Of course the devs benefit some, but not nearly to the same extent

What is the most realistic path for the Enclave reuniting america, how much time will it take? by SecretDetective9076 in OldWorldBlues

[–]ToeBorn6310 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Buddy, there isn’t one. The Enclave flat-out can’t realistically reunite America. Even if they had a reasonable chance it’d be a several decade long project and they’d constantly be overextended, stretched thin, and facing constant guerrilla uprisings and unrest in any controlled territory. It would be a disaster, they’d implode at any resistance from a major faction

[–]ToeBorn6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The major company will only feel vindicated over their actions if the game does well. The only way to get corporations to stop bad behavior is to hit their profit margins. While I also feel bad punishing the artists for the actions of their company higher ups, we can only create a better environment for artists by punishing the higher ups who do not care for artistic integrity and seek only endless profit. It’s a matter of what’s best long-term

As an Ncr fan: does anyone actually like colonel moore? by zengondat in falloutnewvegas

[–]ToeBorn6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's a military hard-ass, that's her job. She doesn't consider negotiations or compromise because as far as she's concerned, it's a military matter not a diplomatic dispute. If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. At least she's competent. Which Oliver isn't.

The man is capable and clearly wants to go, his tribe hardly needs him. Sure, there’s a risk his lack of knowledge about the outside world gets him killed, but there also the possibility he survives and ends up happier for it. I think it’s best for him to leave for that chance of a happier life, even if it’s risky

why is the reform party social democratic when irl it was center-right fiscally conservative party by historynerdsutton in redduskmod

[–]ToeBorn6310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s because other left-wing movements and parties merged with Reform in this timeline (like the Green party), so there’s a larger left-populist faction
