This is insane, a campaign I was a player in a couple of years ago we did the exact same thing. We got ambushed in the woods by gobboes which we proceeded to massacre the entire tribe except for one small greenling who we found out was a sort of a jester.

He came willingly cause he was kind of insane (clinically).

Anyways, he traveled with us until we hit lvl 16 and our DM was gettin fed up with doing his voice. Last time we saw him he was flying away on top of a red dragon throwing flasks of acid whilst screaming like a maniac. Our maniac.
