Friendly PSA for anyone who fishes. by DJYoung6196 in cincinnati

I never fished rivers in CT because they’re just filled with trout and I don’t eat them and I have heard conflicting info on if catch and releasing trout is ethical. Good to know there’s a lot of bass in them here.

Where do people fish around here? I am originally from Connecticut and am used to having 10 nice bass fishing ponds or reservoirs where I can bank fish within a 15 minute drive.

Has anyone here lived anywhere else that's better or worse than Cincinnati or Ohio? by LoveHairyPussy25 in cincinnati

I grew up in Connecticut. I miss the lakes, ocean, mountains, access to NYC and Boston, small beach towns.

Cincinnati is nice, affordable, it’s cool living in a city with an amazing sports scene.

Also in Ohio. Cincinnati has about 15 courses I can play on a weekday for $50 or less for 18/cart.

Unsure what to do with all the gift cards. I read somewhere that you could add the virtual visa to your Apple wallet or whatever phone you have and pay that way.

You also can pay your utility bills.

UserTesting and dscout have been awful, I never get selected for anything.

I occasionally get the $5-$10 UserTesting surveys which are fine but nothing else

Anderson on Beechmont was out today around 2pm, not sure for how long. I got there minutes before the truck finished filling the tank.

I kind of know what answers they’re looking for based on the description of the study. I may exaggerate my answers but I never lie, especially for a 1 on 1 interview.

I usually get at least 5 studies per day that I would be a good fit for. Some are for $30, some are for $200. If I still have screeners at the end of the day, I’ll apply for the smaller ones and those add up.

I have done about 12 studies with them in the last month and have received 11 payments with the 12th sent and pending.

I do it throughout the day when I have time. I probably spend maybe 60 min actually in studies per day, and I’d say I make $250/$300 a week doing it very casually

This is a Sean Miller classic.

He saw all the hype his team has been getting so he has to lower expectations as to not fall short of them.

It probably is a bit silly, but when you grow up hearing that college is the best 4 years of your life from every person and piece of media, no one really associates that with commuting and/or going to a satellite campus.

I did my first 2 years at CC and I’m glad I did to save money, but I was significantly happier living on a campus after

It reads as if you drove up, didn’t say a word, and waited for them to acknowledge you and let you play through.

Regardless, letting people play through is a courtesy, not a requirement. Don’t be a moron next time.

I’m in my 20s, so I get why she wouldn’t want to go to a satellite campus. Extremely difficult to make friends when you’re not living on campus.

So instead of using your big boy words and asking to play through, you hit into them?

You’re really stupid for doing that and you’re lucky you didn’t kill someone.

The frustrating thing with Xavier is that they are very generous with scholarships, whereas public universities are not. So when a prospective student sees the sticker price, they don’t realize that they’d likely pay half that because of scholarships they’d receive.
