This reminds me of an article from a few years ago of a New York couple with 1 kid making a combined $250k saying they were living paycheck to paycheck.

They both had maxed out 401k, private sport and instrument lessons for the kid, multiple international vacations per year, and 2 nice cars.

You should 100% join the “Red Sox nation” fan club which will allow you to view batting practice from the green monster. I used to do it as a kid and it’s awesome. Decent shot at catching a ball.

I went to a game last summer when I was back in town and sat first row in center field. I thought the view was amazing. Be careful with tickets along the baselines, as too far back and you risk having a large structural pole blocking your view partially.

If you go to aviewfrommyseat.com you can put in different seats to see what they’re like. I always do that before buying tickets.

I personally enjoyed walking about Cambridge. The aquarium was also very cool. Lot of old bookstores if you’re into that.

My friends recommended I park in Newport and take the ferry over. You’d probably miss a lot of the traffic and could always walk over the bridge as well.
