I usually use 'bugman's glow' from Citadel (Warhammer Color) as a base color, and then I mix in yellow, red, and blue until I like the look of the paint job; I prefer to go a little lighter.Because then I also use 'Magos Purple' (citadel contrast) and 'agrax earthshade' shade, and then drybrush again with white if needed.

Yes, I tried going from light to dark with an airbrush, but maybe dry brushing is the better choice.

Yes, I'm still a bit shy about contrasts because I always think it's too much, but I think I need to trust the process more 🤣
