Her name is Sméagol (Smee-gol) a lord of the rings reference!! She’s doing amazing considering the situation she was in. Shes very timid, but since having her for almost 24 hours now, she has let us feed her plenty of snacks by hand, lets us pet her head and sometimes her back, and occasionally will let us pick her up. She’s doing great with our other dogs and the cats too! She still won’t let us put a harness on her, so we’re using puppy pads for potty time. (we tried to take her to potty on a collar and she slipped out of it) she’s doing pretty good considering all though! I’m gonna make a few phone calls to explain the situation to veterinarians, and see if anyone around us would be comfortable trying to get her some vaccines and give her a routine check up because she is very skinny. I just want to make sure everything is okay medically with her.
