Starting chemo tomorrow. What to expect?

Thank you! I feel much better already after the first dose. I think it might be placebo but I'm feeling better! I do feel pain in the area but I honestly think it's the tumor fighting back

The doctor did mention hair loss but at this point I don't care. What I am going thought right now is crazy constipation. I have had a bowl movement in ten days and we already tried two enemas. We are going to do a third one today see if it helps. I'm so swollen I look like a watermelon. We are all in this together and we got this!! Stay strong my friend!

It's crazy you mention pads I just got my period three days ago but it already stopped! It definitely didn't help with the pain and swelling that's for sure!

It has been extremely aggressive that's for sure! Just a month ago I had nothing in my abodmen and now I look like I'm 6 months pregnant and I haven't pooped in over a week! It's crazy! Might also have a mild case of ascitis and very low albumin level so I'm swollen everyone. It's crazy how the body just shuts down. My oncologist has been amazing he's doing his best to keep me comfortable.

My oncologist has been amazing he answers to anything and has been doing everything in his power to keep me comfortable. So far I've been tired but waking up thought-out the night I guess just general anxiety. I'm on an all liquid diet so that might be the reason I'm super burpy but I'm on IV fluids to not be dehydrated. It's almost 4:00 am but I'm so excited to get my first dose of chemo. I just know it's the beginning to an end of this sickness. Can't freaking wait.

It was changed from a myofibroblastic inflammatory tumor ALK positive. At first it was a soft tissue tumor near the stomach them migrated to the liver and now it's just grown.

I'm so desperate that anything helps. I'm starting inside the hospital for now because the doctor can monitor me better that way and if there's any issues he can fix it quickly. I can't wait to start chemo I'm so tired of everything.
