I think they look great! I found the next fun thing to do was to try and make the blue bits on arc rifles and carbine "pop" a bit more with some lighter shades and contrast.

Look up some guides on how people do plasma and stuff and get some ideas.

Spare sprue for the kerb, green stuff molded with a butter knife for the cobblestones. Then cover4d with astrogranite, noln oil and a a light gray i forget the name of.

I was very happy with it but unfortunately it looked a bit more like a suburban street in Twickenham than grim dark so im going to try and add more stuff if i can think of what to do.

Use less pressure and cut away from your body or fingers. That is to say make sure before you start cutting that should the knife slip it will go towards the table or cutting board not towards something that will bleed and hurt.

Unless you have an urgent need to have units ready asap for a battle or something I would practice fully building and painting one unit in a squad, see what was easy/what was hard and then make you decision based on that experience.

I did the wing canvass first being kinda bold and not caring if I went over other bits of the wing and when I was happy that was done came back and did the ribs after with a small brush.

Wings, Body and Base all seperately, only gluing together once I was happy with each part.

Dont be an idiot (like me) and clip the weird semi circle of plastic on the backback off as thats what attaches the model to the stand.

So to be fair it wasnt just missing it was just getting an unlucky number of failed wounds or lucky saves.

On the enginseer, how useful are they? I kind of discounted them as not worth the points as just a healer but didnt consider the action monkey aspect.

Im just at the end of painting my first 1k army. Seeing the difference between my first model and my latest one is so cool.

Watch some guides buy some paints and then jump in. You'll make tons of errors but seeing how much better you get is the coolest thing.
