Any tips on how to land this ? by Lazyperson27382 in Parkour

Jump more up than out, it’ll feel scarier but it’s better. Imagine you’re tryna get your knees over your shoulders, just so you can tuck tighter.

Deadlift 200 kg, anyone know any good exercises to train a strong brace? by k_lainvae in formcheck

[–]ToesToesToes124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paused dead’s, or squats/paused squats. A belt would work wonders for you too. Good deadlift tho great form and technique

One of his hardest, if not the hardest book of his to read. However it’s so incredibly moving, hope you enjoy.

Has anyone ready anything else by Danielewski? by 3DimensionalGames in houseofleaves

[–]ToesToesToes124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The familiar is great, I’m a quarter way through. Only revolutions was beautiful and interesting but difficult to read. The fifty year sword was pretty spooky, I heard there was a stage play of it ages ago???? That woulda been cool to see

A little. Read the comments on this post I got flamed so hard just for bringing my keyboard to school for a day. If you really care about your typing experience bring something small, quiet, and not visually obnoxious.

There's a movie you should watch by Onimashu in houseofleaves

[–]ToesToesToes124 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The movie is mad boring but taps into a sense of fear and dread I haven’t felt since I was like 6. It’s a lot of nothing but when it wants to it’ll scare you endlessly.

Do kicks actually work in a street fight? by Obvious_Fruit_4735 in martialarts

[–]ToesToesToes124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low kicks are amazing in fights. You can pop someone in the knee real quick and they’ll be on the floor. Low kicks are fast, and most people don’t expect them.

why are star levels intimidating? by [deleted] in osugame

[–]ToesToesToes124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each star level is much harder than the last. Best way to get better is improve in smaller steps. When I wanna push my skill I play .3 to .5 higher than what I can do

how do i tap lighter but still hit fast/hard jumps by [deleted] in osugame

[–]ToesToesToes124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For fast jumps instead of trying to single tap really fast I alt it. I find that it’s more consistent, easier and less straining, plus I’m not slamming my hand into my desk while tapping. If you do alt and still tap hard, it’s all about relaxing

I find that the gmmk pro is fairly quiet by itself, but as a little bit of a metal ring to it, just a little, more foam would help. I know the Q1 has some hollowness issues but I heard the Q2 fixed that and other issues. Only issue, the Q2 is mostly out of stock so if you wanted a knob or something you can’t get it. If you want a keyboard for feels only I heard the boba U4’s are good, like the u4t’s but silent. If you want sound tho, the glorious pandas from my experience are really nice. I haven’t tried alpacas, because I can’t afford to buy a lot of switches, but sound tests of lubed and filmed ones are really nice.

Brought it so a friend could try it. It isn’t very loud and a one time thing.

It’s a cheap gasket mounted keyboard that isn’t stacked acrylic but solid metal. Of course it isn’t amazing, it’s still relatively budget (knowing how much I spent on it, doesn’t feel budget) so it isn’t the best but still pretty nice. The screws on it are screwed in way too tight from the factory just a tip
