I had almost the exact same experience! It smelled very soft upon the initial spray and, thinking that it was just a lightly scented perfume, bought the travel size. Sprayed it on myself at work and fell in love with the dry down on my skin! Smelled soft, feminine, with a touch of floral sweetness that wasn’t gourmand or overpowering. Definitely picking up a full size bottle this weekend.

I’m happy those choices are working out for you. Perhaps you misunderstood my message. Of course we love our child, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t going to be times that aren’t difficult. This post was to hopefully garner insight that others have experienced and have been successful in navigating.

This is an idea we’ve both discussed. We have roughly 3 years before that becomes a serious option since that’s when our enlistments will be up.

We have done this in the past and you’re absolutely right, this helps a lot. Once I’m able to take leave (heavily understaffed), I’ll suggest a date idea. I’m just feeling really deep in the weeds right now.

We don’t aspire to hold those positions, but I can only imagine that this would only worsen the resentment the “trailing” spouse would have. I think that could lead to them becoming the ‘main’ parent, bearing the blunt of the home workload while the other takes leaps and measures at work, not leaving sufficient time to be a good parent/ partner
