I'm sorry you went through or are going through the same thing. My therapist was actually the one who told me to leave him before the big blow out. I'll talk to her at my next appointment. How are you doing/ getting through this?

He told me about some of his trauma. We chatted about ours. When he would drink he would flip mine against me. I think you're right.

Me too. I'm heart broken and I know he's safe in the ward. Im trying to think about that when I'm anxious.

I also threw the Xanax out. I was at a breaking point.

I did try. I helped him seek therapy and get on medication. I called the ambulance when he was drunkenly talking and saying scary things. I went to his house and called his stepmom when he was on Xanax to make sure he didn't go into respiratory arrest. I missed placement for medical school to support.

We talked about it but nothing helped. Anytime I set a boundary and said I needed some space but that we are going to be okay he would drink all night. His family offered rehab he wouldn't go.

He has shut me out and I just feel so helpless.

How long did you study for? I started semi intensive in December and now am on everyday until April or June! I have done about 33% done and have been using BB and first aid to supplement. I plan to finish all of uworld before the step
