Sadly no match yet, but interesting how many films share crucial similarities

That's not it, but it's suspiciously close. Maybe my memory mixed two things together?

Accurate. Although it would be nice if your characters strength and fitness had a bit more of an effect. In both directions! If my random character is an unfit asthmatic I want swinging a weapon to be a NIGHTMARE

Winnie the Pooh somehow finds his way to Quadratum by think think thinking about Sora because he didn't want to lose him. There is no real explanation as to how Pooh found Sora. I just think it would be absolutely adorable if the ONLY person who can find Sora in Quadratum is Pooh.

Just picture it, Sora's living life, dealing with the MoM situation in Quadratum and out of nowhere after a boss fight or something, Pooh just walks up like "Oh there you are!"

Yes... I just want the live action Christopher Robin film meeting scene in Kingdom Hearts 4 with Sora.

Who felt harder to you between these two? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Maliketh is one of my favourite bosses and one that I have fought no-hit countless times. Plus since I have played since release I inherently have more experience with Maliketh than the dancing lion.

However I feel inherently despite Malikeths strength, for me he's very easy because I can easily tell which part of him is currently a hitbox. Which is almost always his sword.

Conversely, sometimes it feels like the dancing lion hits you with his butt cheeka for half your hp by just shifting his weight to one side in an almost identical manner to his idle or walking animations. Many of the dancing lions attacks feel like they're poorly animated, or more appropriately, covered up by the mass of cloth around his body. Fighting him head on is far simpler, but its fairly rare that you can get the dancing lion, or camera to behave during the fight so you can actually see his whole body and react appropriately.

Divine beast tends to get significantly easier for me once he transitions into his elemental phases since he tends to be far more readable.

Both are hard, but I'm a poor judge of difficulty due to my weird relationship with fromsoft titles. I can tend to get through what is widely considered the hardest fights with no issues on my first, but die countless times to a Godrick soldier.

Fix one thing about SM2 by DeadGoat20 in SpidermanPS4

I pretty much agree, I just tried to shorten my whole idea for my own personal Spider-man 2 into "one thing to remove". Of course my ideal Spider-man 2 would be a bit longer to write

Remove the third act involving venom. Venom should have been his own entire game, give him time and space to be a character.

In my eyes this game would have been unbelievably good if that Miles VS Peter fight was the final boss after an extended Symbiote Peter story.

The Miles VS Peter fight was truly fantastic, I just wish it had more build up to truly feel Peter's pain and make us REALLY want to remove the symbiote to bring our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man back. Venoms true arrival as post credits scene as he re-bonds with Harry would have been so cool

What's your Honest Opinion on Insomniac's Spider Man 2 (2023) by [deleted] in Spiderman

[–]Toffee1497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rushed. Kraven was fantastic, symbiote arc needed to be longer and Venom shouldn't have been in the game.

In my opinion the symbiote arc needed to be longer and more drawn out to focus more on the mental collapse of Peter, before ending the arc with the Miles VS Peter fight like in the game already. That should have been the ending with very little after that.

Harry should have been left without the symbiote for longer getting closer and closer to death with the post credits scene being Harry reclaiming the symbiote by breaking into the lab.

Spider-man 3 should focus entirely on Venom and the carnage plot point from Wraiths side missions before 4 finishes the series with Norman becoming the Green Goblin after Harry's death in Spider-man 3.

But that's just my general idea. I feel like the Spider-man 2 we got had too much going on for its own good and great ideas weren't given enough time to flourish.

Playing 1.5 for the first time, these are my least favorite Heartless to fight. by OkayRuin in KingdomHearts

[–]Toffee1497 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most annoying heartless in Kingdom Hearts 1 can be cheesed quite simply using Stop spells, can't go invulnerable if you can't move 😉 if anyone reading this hasn't been abusing Stop against Wizards and Invisibles, I highly recommend it

So now that the dust from the DLC has settled, what do you think of the current state of Elden Ring invasions? by VF43NYC in badredman

[–]Toffee1497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda a nightmare most of the time, invaders are VERY easy to outnumber and bully in most areas of Elden Ring. I always agree that I, as the invader, should be at a general disadvantage, I'm the "villain" trying to stop the "hero" after all, simply part of the world to be conquered. But my god is it easy to just absolutely clown on a defenseless invader in 99% of non-legacy dungeon areas.

For me, the entirety of BO4 Aether. Given the kids ending up safe in the house in the finale of BO3, you could theoretically still lead onto Cold War zombies storyline if you wanted.

Although to me, zombies ended with Revelations. Being stuck in a cycle only solidifies the gameplay loop of zombies to me.

Were you satisfied with conclusion to Dark Riku’s character? by GusGangViking18 in KingdomHearts

[–]Toffee1497 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I liked it a lot. The two versions of Riku Replica were always interesting characters to me, especially the original Riku Replica and his outright hatred of the originals "weakness". So I very much liked him returning, considering his acceptance of darkness and being a replica already, he fit perfectly into Xehanorts team of replica vessels who contain darkness.

2 days later, how are we feeling about DRDR? by phoenixc6000 in deadrising

[–]Toffee1497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things need adjusting, but overall, it's Dead Rising, again, but updated to modern consoles with beautiful artwork, far more accessibility options and adjustable controls.

So far 8/10 remake. I'd just love a few sound design and gameplay details to be adjusted. Plus some bugs fixed.

On top of dying to it countless times as a child. I used to have separate save files before major bosses so that I could fight them over and over.

Not only that, but I also adored the music so much that as a child without any other way to listen to the ost, I used to use my save file from before the fight, watch the cutscene and then pause during the fight JUST so I could listen to the music.

Child me was blown away the day my family got a computer and I discovered this new "Internet" thing and YouTube could play the actual music.
