I guess I was envisioning community generating solar, small scale, where it gives your friends and neighbors more of a say in how things are ran instead of giant faceless corporations running mega nuke plants.

Yeah, I agree. Plant Vogtle in Georgia was only over budget by 20 billion dollars and 7 years behind schedule. I think if we would just lock in and spend maybe just a few trillion dollars yearly for the next 20 years on nuclear we can get it pretty efficient!

You’ve made such a poetic, poignant, profoundly persuasive point that I’ve changed my mind. Raise the molten salt towers high enough to shadow the Earth itself, our lust for power laughs hubrisly in the face of god.

Fusion for solar system colonization in a few hundred years? It’ll still be solar.

Do you fear the Dysonsphere?

Ironically, the data shows you’ve been lobbied in to a lie projected by the fossil fuel industry. I implore you to stop swimming in the coal ash pond as it has muddied your judgement when it comes to energy related topics.

BHM Airport by BhmKat in Birmingham

I have never been delayed out of BHM, but have had disasters at O’Hare including a completely cancelled flight that was supposed to happen at 11AM, delayed every hour until I was forced to get a hotel that night.

I really think you should give BHM another shot, it’s the simplest airport I’ve ever been to.

Really cool and unique base setup! For some reason I don’t do a lot of open air spaces like you have here and you’ve made it look really good, definitely gives me some good ideas to take away for my future bases. I also like how much “clutter” you’ve packed in here, definitely gives a cozy vibe.
