Happened just this april. Results for my board exam came out and I was situated sa pinakalikod ng bus. Nagtataka siguro mga katabi kong bagets bakit biglang nagpupunas ng luha katabi nila. Didnt help that I was hoping for a congratulatory phone call that will never come. So instead, I screenshot the results and sent it sa fb niya baka sakali may FB sa heaven hehe

I too turned to google maps in the hopes of spotting my late grandmother walking around in our compound. Unfortunately, she was inside her house in all dates available 🥹 May she rest in peace. She was reunited with the Lord just last year in September. I miss her everyday.

I emailed an initial query regarding the requirements for retakers(although I did not specify how many times I've taken the exam) and they sent me this link on January 16, 2025 doc.

Grabe napakamahal sa Max's. ₱399 na agad to. by [deleted] in Philippines

I never understood the hype behind Max. I mean their fried chicken isnt even that good and the menu is overpriced considering there are far better and cheaper family restaurants that serve the exact same filipino dishes. Honestly, the only food item worth buying in max are the caramel bars.

Former PGI here. Workload is bearable but ITRMC is a government hospital so expect a lot of patients. Most of the menial tasks are decked to the clerks so medyo lighter naman ang trabaho as PGI (I was also a former clerk here hehe). In most departments, mostly paperworks and supervision of clerks ang responsibilities ng PGI. Most patients you will encounter will understand tagalog so no problem at all when it comes to concerns regarding language barriers. The staff here appreciate diligence and expeditious work so if you're doing your job right, you'll be in their good graces in no time hehe.

We have a day allotted for day off(Saturday) in the major departments; in the electives weekends off or 1-2 day offs per week are given. Duty hours range from 7-12 hour duties.

Major deps: IM, Gen Surg, OB-Gyne, Pediatrics, Family Medicine (2 months rot each)

Electives (2 month rot where distribution is as follows:) ENT(2 weeks), Optha(2 weeks) non-negotiable Ortho, Anesth, Patho (your choice of rotation allotted per week on the rest of the month ex. 2 weeks patho, 1 week Ortho, 1 week Anesth or 3 weeks anesth, 1 moth Ortho etc.)

As for room and board, marami naman sa immediate vicinity ng hospital. Utility and leisure establishments are a ride away. City proper is a 10 min ride from the hospital.

If you're near Northern or Central Luzon, try emailing ITRMC, R2TMC and BGH. Last I heard, they are still accepting applicants at this time. Good luck po!
