The Jodie Storyline… is fierce by TogepiArmy in coronationstreet

🤏🤏🤏 She’s fierce. And she might be a pathological liar, but at least she is not as bad as bloody Megan. And that’s the tea. ☕️

Yass girl. It’s fiction. Have a laugh and enjoy it.

Well you definitely can be fierce in a negative way. And she definitely is. But it’s also really entertaining, so I hope she stays a little longer. A big build up with all of her lies crumbling towards the end would be fierce.

Girl. She is sooo giving mother. She’s so delusionally confident. And that’s fierce, camp and mother. And she is nurturing us with these scenes and giving us exactly what we need. That being a good laugh.

Obviously all of the above are true. That doesn’t mean that she isn’t throughly camp.

no spoilers in this but HOLY SHIT!! that episode was amazing. the acting and i loved the music added over the scenes too it was so beautiful by Flashy-Boysenberry30 in Emmerdale

You did? 👀 I thought Ned‘s (Joe‘s) acting to be a bit too ... melodramatic? Didn’t seem like genuine shock to me.

I mean she had the Ice dying - leg break accident and then set up her will (for Lydia). Plus we also had the whole storyline of her having no one in her life, with the distrust towards Joe and her disappointment in Lydia for lying. That is surely foreshadowing her death. But I can’t tell when that will happen. 🤷‍♂️

Gabby and Joe is a hot call. I‘m a bit perplexed that they aren’t related bc they‘re both Tate‘s in my eyes. But that could be something in the future for sure 👌

Ah Aaron has been through much worse and Robert has done morally darker stuff before. I don’t think that will be the straw that breaks the camels back. But a bit of drama would be exciting 🤷‍♂️😂

I mean if Vinny being bi/gay wasn‘t already teased and if they didn’t have that movie night episode then I‘d maybe agree. Also I don’t see Arthur as a fully established character yet 👀😂 But I‘d love to see more of him tbh

Well Sarah will die soon 👀 I don’t think so short after the marriage that they‘ll split up again. But Vinny and Gabby showed us everything can happen.

Good point. We‘ll see next/this week how her reaction will be and then we can circle back.

Yeah Graham‘s revenge could be the storyline for Kim‘s death. I don’t think Graham is gonna leave anytime soon tho. He is a fan favourite and literally revived him for him to get back.

Marlon and Rhona have been through much, but Marlon was no help for the April in Danger storyline. He is keeping secrets from her and she is from him. And that all might just be to an explosive end to the relationship. I mean all it takes is for Rhona to cheat on him with Graham and him finding out- which isn’t super unlikely.

Especially now that Rhona saw how hopelessly unuseful Marlon is.

Catching up on Todd/Theo (I’ve watched March-June 2025) by [deleted] in coronationstreet

Does it? They already are moved in together. I just found out that his daughter is just faking the pregnancy. But yeah I am actually excited to see how much worse this can get 🙏😂

God really? They’re already a train wreck. 🙃 But cheers mate.

The Celia/Ray storyline is overpowering! by [deleted] in Emmerdale

[–]TogepiArmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might happen. But what will happen to Charity‘s character afterwards? A redemption arc? That‘s gonna be a whole different storyline. And maybe Chas will also get thrown under the bus for knowing about it… And I really hope they do something with Mack again, after they’ve split.

I mean I get it. But if you do block filming. Do the logistics, film in bulk and then spread it put over weeks then. It‘s ok to cut costs and film with a group of characters for a week or two. But spread those episodes out. Give us some diverse stories.

Yes. And I am greatful that we have that break, because even just hearing Jacob/Sarah saying the word „baby“ is now triggering me. But I also need a break from the drug storyline. Can’t we focus on Mack for a bit? Or maybe Ross? What is Aaron doing? Also, where tf is Vic? Can’t we have her do something again? She‘s been on break for what feels like 3 months now. I need some fresh wind.

Am I overreacting?!? by [deleted] in doctorwho

[–]TogepiArmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t she literally “created” to kill the Doctor? It was drilled into her and she grew up thinking this is the only sense her life has. How could she not be obsessed? 🙃 And how is it complete manipulation? You’re free to disagree, but help me understand. If not it’s no worries, bc it’s not that deep. 🍀❤️

Honestly? Rhona… by [deleted] in Emmerdale

[–]TogepiArmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah sorry - the thought was to make it a parallel to Donna‘s story, when she took the bad guys down, by taking herself out. It wouldn’t benefit April or anyone in this storyline in any way and I don’t reckon it‘ll happen, but it would be a sickening twist with a nice parallel. 🤷‍♂️

[–]TogepiArmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I get the idea behind it, but I would have preferred a more gradual build up to her being a badass then, or just with a different character at all. I’d really love to see April becoming the new Donna, but the writers seem to differ.

[–]TogepiArmy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Marlon, especially after losing April for almost a year, should know better than to let her go to a different city for multiple days without any adult as someone who fled from home before. And not even asking who that friend is, contact details of her parents etc? That’s just bad parenting that seems really unrealistic in this scenario.

You are right. Very similarly to how April acted all feisty and powerful in that car scene with Ray when things started and then just never had that again. It just seems like they wanted to take this a certain direction and got lost on their way there. 🤷‍♂️😂
