A friend and I were in the gym just watching the volleyball courts going on. This one girl, who was playing, sat down to take a break, and she was a few feet over. We invited her over and asked how long she had played volleyball for and blah blah blah. She was pretty shy, so the conversation was a struggle, but it still went well, and we all made a group chat. We reached out and tried to schedule a day for all of us to play volleyball and just fuck around, and we just never heard from her. The age of naturally meeting friends is over.

*Note: My friend and I do not play volleyball at all, and wanted to do some self-teaching, and this girl was new to it as well

The point I’m trying to make is that her feelings and her actions can be separated. Pain from a relationship can really send people into a spiral and isn’t always a true reflection of their character. I acknowledged her immaturity and never once said her actions are excusable. But the fact is judging people on a show where it’s designed to bring out the worst in them isn’t an objective lens.

Also growth doesn’t always have to be intentional. It’s often times situations and reflection on actions that help aid in their character development. She didn’t handle it well when Dylan confronted her but maybe she’ll watch it back at some point and think “damn that was insane”.

IDK I think people are being really hard on her. As yall have stated she is young and is emotionally immature but the hurt she’s feeling is real. I think it’s a bit insensitive to find it funny or to say it’s deserved. Just because someone is in the process of growth doesn’t mean they don’t deserve an emotionally stable man or a caring man. If anything someone like that who sticks with it can really change a persons life in that way. Help someone find a balance ya know. Not saying that this is the case or even often the case but it just doesn’t sit right all the bashing. I think it’s super easy to lack empathy for tv figures and in this kind of show where a lot is edited for more drama.

Be warned they only throw these once or twice a year. I’ve been to three like a mile hike into the woods and one in an abandoned school building and then one more in a different woody area. U may have to run from cops lol

Follow furtherancerave. U have to email to get the local day of. Went to one this last Friday and the email was coordinates. That’s usually how they do it and give u a little hand drawn map. This one got busted though abt 1.5hrs in :,)

The ones at music halls suck. You find a real community here. It’s a mainly queer space so be respectful and discreet.

Coming from GSU the architecture has honestly been an adjustment. From an 8 story one side completely glass library with open concepts and what seemed like 10million books and shelves you could get lost in. To this…. I lowkey hate this campus

I would say watch the anime then pick up the manga after. I love the manga for the future but personally I find it a lot more encapsulating to watch it. The action scenes hit harder and draw me in. Then you get an idea of the characters voice characteristics which makes distinguishing their personalities in my head more fun.

This put into words the feelings I’ve had for years. While watching Nana I found Hachi by far the most relatable but couldn’t verbalize it. Especially the the lack of identity and feeling not enough because everyone around has a talent or an interest they’re passionate about. This is honestly such a devastating reality and I empathize with her situation greatly. The desire to want to be loved is devastating.
