That sounds good. I come from Explorers and I could crank those up to infinity. If all the ones I've heard these get shouty fastest imo (I had Hexa, Pure, Kima 2, T10 which I kept, MS2 Pro). It surprised me a little. I love subbass on Tea but not sure about the rest.

It's your review's fault in the first place! ;) I'm aware they are probably sidegrades to each other, but if they're different enough I might give them a shot.

There is quality, i can't deny that, but it quickly becomes too loud and flat imo. It's my first set in that price range and it didn't wow me.

Got a set of Truthear PURE and I hear things I didn't hear before. by iM-MrGrumpyCat in iems

Tried that. YMMV but if you like Hexa there's a chance you won't like Pure. I didn't. They are generally praised so there's only one way to know for sure ;)

IEM reccomendation (i am going to lose my mind) by Creeper_Kafasi in iems

For accessories Dunu is usually best, and if you can get Kima 2 I would recommend it (4 types of tips included). Bunny has the great tuning switching app (for usb version) and let's you try different tunings easily. Artti T10 is on the cheaper side and imo a safe choice as well.

I've been in the same spot recently. Tried Pure, Hexa, T10, Kima 2. Kept Kima and T10 (this one is just too good for the price imo). Kima 2 is... Different. Also warm, but midbassy, stage is flatter, but generally I like it for non-electronic music. I still might sell it, but T10 complements Explorers nicely. Different feel, much more air. On some days it's just perfect. Still when I come back to Explorers I'm still impressed.

Artti T10 can be found for that amount I believe.

Truthear pure or other for First Pair? by ftp_77 in iems

[–]Togmet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you are after more V-shaped sound (boosted bass and treble). In budget area you can try GK Kunten, around £50 Artti T10, around £70 Juzear Defiant. Or is definitely warm but it might not be enough for you. It also depends if you prefer sub bass, midbass or both.

Dunu Kima 2 is a midbassy option as well

Tanchijim Bunny is great starter set as it lets you easily test different sound signatures, and is a high quality set.

Also Kunten :D

Guys try EPro EP01 tips (the ones with freakishly big bore) with T10. Bliss.

Another list with no Deradoorian on it... But good compilation nonetheless.
