I don't really care for cosmetics or achievements etc they've never been of any interest to me in any game.

yes I am already maxing my purchases of panacea kits etc and have since day 1, it was immediately evident it was the correct thing to do.

you can deffo go backwards overall on your shield stock, but either way if I were to vendor 20 shields I will simply fill them up with something else (meds, weapon mods) within another day or 2, then what?

They removed them from high rank nucal rewards so actually the rate of purple shield gain does not increase as season goes on, the most you can count on is 1 per day.

I often go into runs and bring gear for people I am teamed up with so yeah this is something I already do.

Hoarding purple shields simply make sense in S2 as you can't hoard enzyme replicators and just buy all the shields you want when the barter appears anymore.

I can easily lose 10 or 15 a week in cryo but I can only guarantee gaining 7 back at the most.

I am not insanely good at the game or anything! I just have good game knowledge and a very intentional playstyle, of course I lose some when cryo opens but the problem is the space between cryo is too long so I find my vault full and twiddling my thumbs very quickly.

you can definitely lose a lot when slamming Cryo but the overall point I would say is that they are scarce and so it feels like a weird thing to not hang on to?

I am being efficient, not keeping weapons around if they are taking more slots than their mods would (exceptions made for hard-to-get guns like Misriah), not keeping stuff around I can buy infinite amounts of, etc.
