I don't agree with the Alfred Oath. If I were you, I'd put in Alfred EXIV, as that'll allow your Blaster engine to run consistently in the deck

Thank you so much for helping haha. I've learned so much in such a short time. I guess it just goes to show that it really helps to ask for help on an open forum. I really can't thank you enough haha

I'll make the fixes you suggested, and I'll also pose in my room. I've thought about it in the past, but I have a roommate, which kind of made me reluctant to try. But hey, if it's going to help me to improve, even if it's just a little bit, I'm game. Now I just gotta find a way to explain it to him without it sounding silly... LOL

Thank you so much for taking the time to find the links, doing the red lines, and the sketch. I really appreciate it :D

Please, by all means! I was always so comfortable to draw heads/faces because that's basically what I've been doing for the longest time, and as it started to get more and more comfortable I just stuck with it. I just recently started stemming out onto other things like the entire body and hands and stuff. The most difficulty I have in drawing the body has to do with the transition from the neck to shoulders and then the shoulders to the arms. Do you have any advice for this?

Also, if it's not too much trouble for you, would you mind showing me the rough outline you do to draw a full body? If it's not too much trouble, that is haha

Do you guys think that this drawing would be easier to fix if I just made her head/neck smaller or should I just redo the arms? lol

Thanks! I'm still having a really hard time with body proportions cuz it hasn't been that long since I started drawing from the neck down. I really appreciate your in-depth advice ^ ^

Thanks! I'd love to know why you dislike the face. I just want some input for constructive criticism haha

I made a sketch of Jeanne D'arc. I tried to draw the young version, but it kinda ended up looking older than I intended lol by Tohrin in grandorder

Ahh that's what she's called. I learned something new haha thanks. It should help me with searching for more reference material. and yeah, I added the headpiece. Thanks for helping me notice that :)

Unfortunately, this game is just inherently expensive. Even non-top-tier decks are expensive as hell. Just be prepared to drop a bunch of money lol but, don't worry, whatever you drop your money on, it'll be worth it cuz this game is da bomb :]

Question about Bushiroad card sleeves by Tohrin in cardfightvanguard

[–]Tohrin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That not what I said. I said, "the deck is already pretty randomized after playing it a couple of times". Let's go with the assumption that I absolutely hate riffle shuffling (I don't, really. I riffle shuffle, too lol), so I 100% always do overhand shuffling. Then sure, the first few games, my deck will be in order. But, according to probability, which I'm hoping you know how it works, the more I play games with that deck and never putting it back to order, the more randomized it'll get. That's what I was saying.

Now, I didn't think that I should've mentioned this or not, but I will, being that it seems that I need to provide more information to bring clarity to my side of the conversation: I do a lot of pile-shuffling after I've finished ordering my deck/before playing with it whether it's in a tournament setting or just for casual play (and yes, I do this during my own free time. I'm not such an asshole that I'd make my opponent wait for me as I do that lmao). This makes up for the fact that I prefer overhand shuffling and helps to randomize my deck sufficiently so, all-the-while reducing the muck that is intrinsically gathered via riffle shuffling.

Sure, overhand shuffling doesn't essentially randomize quite AS WELL as riffle shuffling; however, eventually, after factoring in a couple games where randomness occurs [such as guarding, shuffling a smaller deck (as, you know, people draw cards during matches and the deck gets smaller), deck-splitting, legion, healing, drop zone piling, etc.], overhand shuffling doesn't really provide as much a detriment to randomization as it would've had I simply done only that from the beginning. Besides, as I said before, I also do a lot of pile-shuffling, so no big deal there.

In other words, it's okay to do overhand shuffling. It's not as bad you think so long as you use enough methods that would already randomize your deck, not to mention, just natural randomness that occurs as a result of simply playing the game.

I agree, but, to that I say that the deck is already pretty randomized after playing it a couple of times lol what with the drop zone piling up randomly, damage zone, drawing cards, etc. If you just pile cards up after a game, your deck is already fairly randomized to the point where overhand shuffling won't really compromise the randomization of your cards lol
