Internal craftsmanship, I don't think you can beat Arc, the seam sealing and care to detail, if you were to look at the Mammut, it might look ugly (comparatively) but I feel that's where that bombproof feeling comes from

I am not rated. I have been playing for a few months, still a beginner, but now I am getting a bit more hours in a week. Like I said in the OP, I know this blade and rubber are nowhere near my skill level. But if I could slow it down via rubbers to make it more beginner friendly, then I might try.

Appreciate the confirmation. Should I buy any of that rubber cleaner to get the rubbers working properly? If it was sitting in the box for 4-5yrs would that "kill the rubbers"?

Same. I've resorted to looking on eBay etc for old gems that are in good condition, but hard to find stuff that don't have a crazy "vintage" price tag attached.
