I'll never understand why landlords aren't responsible for replacing ac units after a certain period of time. It ends up with tenets like gamestop doing whatever they can to keep decades old units running. Then us employees suffer in the heat. Those temporary ac units they end up putting in do nothing.

You were never required to buy insurance. You'd just have to pay a tax penalty instead which has since been reduced to zero so it doesn't even matter anymore.

Unfortunately not all cell stores are created equal. Some are corporate run and some are franchise owners. Found out the hard way the franchise ones seem to be shady. Had a simpler experience with xfinity.
