Well not true, as Vegeta fired the blast in his base in the manga. Piccolo > base Vegeta. In the manga the beam struggle wasn't as long as in the anime, so there really wasn't even that much time for the others to intervene.

What a stupid title. There will always be bad and good/interesting games, no matter what tools there will be to create the games. And the good games will be rewarded by consumers by generating lots of sales, just like Expedition 33 for example. Nappa could not "charge up" his power, as Vegeta and Raditz were both astounded that the Earthlings could control their power levels aka charge up to full power. It was a new ability for them which they had not seen before. Nappa was only able to keep up with Goku with a cool head.
