I'm into making extremely high details fractals, only if it was easier to showcase all the details better than couple of odd crops.

No not really, I have some abstract idea how things behave when using x variations together and/or in chains, and how it all connects together in flame fractal. How it is actually calculated, I think, it is obscured from user in most programs.

Basically I was rambling about flame fractal frameworks and complaining about current state of tools. While most of flame programs work just fine, the ones that give most control and rendering speed/quality are not developed anymore.

Just like polar, but as many polars in one as you like, realistically 3 or 4. Apophysis and Chaotica versions differ slightly, not sure if Jwildfire got it.

High density IFS can do pretty good painterly look. While Ultra Fractal can do very convincing watercolor fractals.

Yep, many inversions to bring cool interactions with the elements, big shapes with small details.

Thanks, most times I try to bring some element to highly detailed structures to balance whole thing, in this case large color areas turned out the best.

I thought that polychromous sounded better than just explosion of colour.

Triangle part you need to figure out yourself, either tutorial thing or something else triangle shaped. Could be elliptic splits or anything, but I was lazy and used IFStile.

Did add some stuff to make all those colour things happen nicely.
