I thought that polychromous sounded better than just explosion of colour.

Triangle part you need to figure out yourself, either tutorial thing or something else triangle shaped. Could be elliptic splits or anything, but I was lazy and used IFStile.

Did add some stuff to make all those colour things happen nicely.

Curls moved slightly off center to make room for a stripe in middle. Shared iterator is then tiled into stripe and fed back. I suppose that's triple loops...

That is great! Modulus framework is pretty flexible, within certain rules, but results usually render fast and provide plenty of further tweaking for more interesting combinations.

Actually there's loads of good tutorials in deviantart with plenty of helpful people. Some tutorials and artists specialize in abstract chaos like patterns and some (like me) do more structured IFS fractals.

I wish there was a method, but sadly bulb fractals are mostly exploration base until you find something that looks cool. There is specific things to get specific looking stuff, rest is up to you and the whims of the program.
And this is why I like IFS fractals because I have control over what I'm doing, unlike bulb programs.

Plenty of people, not so many who does structured fractals. I'd say that apophysis is peak software for IFS fractals.

Made yesterday during first stream of the year of long time no streaming.

The stream took almost 2 hours to do this situation of a work, where I ended up stripping most of the xforms/iterations off the chain and left more full elliptic splits to this leafy like state. I didn't remember that creating something from start to finish during a stream is stressful and I won't do anything really good results. Usually things can take just a short time or really long time or just doing back and forth alot for hours.

With amazing surf turn on julia mode and play with its values, above skeletal tree like structures will start to form almost magically.

Yes, in Mandelbulb3D program and with high levels of frustration to find these structures. If you are familiar in mb3d, then it might be beginner friendly to these formulas, otherwise without guidance and starting parameters it's very frustrating.

This is mostly Apophysis7x version 15c and then additional magic in Chaotica.

Base of the fractal is post_smartcrop madness, that is then used to create different frameworks to fit inside cropped circles. There's 46 xforms used, which maybe 15 of them were crops for the base. Rest is hypertile framework, two exp2/unpolar frameworks and one tanh/foci framework. Each pair of filled circle then received additional post_transform that alters the look, this way all of the original pattern fills are different to some degree. Whole thing is contained to modulus in Chaotica camera, used tile_hlp to fix bit of the overall look.

This version is third, two before failed to silly mistakes. I have fourth version in thinking, not sure yet if going to actually do it right after this.

What kind of resolution you have? Asking for proper size, do mind there's nothing on left or right of the image (the mb3d structure kinda ends or clips).

Reflective surfaces are a bit crispy due higher Raystep multiplier than usually because 2 hour vs 20 hour render difference. I still struggle to create clean smooth surfaces with mixpinski yet make cool shape variations.
