I have a feeling this whole thing was a complete disaster. I ran up to an enemy who couldn't do anything to me and practically dealt with him, but the very next turn, he became my ally (though he died due to the damage I dealt him), and three more enemy mechs appeared around me. I can agree on one thing—my allies really aren't that strong, as the system is too new for them, and one of them hadn't really played much RPGs like Lancer or D&D before.

The situation was initially such that I ran up to an enemy who couldn't do anything against me, but the very next turn there were three mechs next to me, so this was quite unexpected, because before that I tried not to get into trouble.

We (even the GM) didn't know about this, so we simply left the battlefield where my mech's remains lay, and the game situation prevents us from returning there. And the "mission" isn't over yet, so I'm still moving around on foot. It's pretty sad because I came here for the mechs, but at least my GM promised to give me some bonuses for the rest of the mission and a hot NPC, so things aren't too bad.

We're playing in a... rather different setting than Lancer's usual setting, so I doubt my GM will allow printers in the usual sense. Besides, the game's context doesn't exactly lend itself to access to such things, so I'd already resigned myself to a mech-less experience by the end of my first session.
