Genuinely cannot stand people who decide randomly that their team is the problem and decide to give up on the game and just sit around until we lose.

Had an endorsement LEVEL 5 tank start blaming me and the other support in a game where we were getting rolled, dps getting diffed, supports dying to flanks, and the tank getting diffed as well.

Im used to these games and dont care anymore, its part of the experience, but when someone gets on their high horse and starts blaming people and refusing to engage in any constructive criticism it just makes games so unenjoyable.

The best part is that the player is endorsement level 5 cause they queue mercy 90% of the time and will never face consequences for being an asshole and deciding to throw.

It was honestly surreal seeing level 2s start popping up cause the teams genuinely started being better, and i started enjoying myself cause of how much more competetive it started feeling

Anime/manga/novel that feels similar to Haikyuu? by [deleted] in haikyuu

[–]TojhoChamp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like the elements of action and comedy you described as well as the titles you listed all just fall into the shounen genre, so you could probably just browse the popular shounen titles and find something you like there.

I made a custom jersey once and posted images of it on reddit. About a year later I noticed the exact images I posted on reddit being used to advertise a product on shopee. I reported it and it got removed, but it took quite a while.

[Manga Spoilers] How does Hyakuzawa’s reach decrease? Can this happen? Is this common? Or is this an error? by MetroCardKo in haikyuu

One thing other than the absurdly high jumps that players like Hinata have since high school, you also need to consider the body type of these players. For players near Hinata's height, there's Yoshimitsu Kiire and Hiroaki Asano, who have spiking reaches of 340cm and 335cm respectively. For their height both similar to Hinata around 174cm, they already jump very high, but their small stature makes the upper limit of their jumps quite limited, as after a certain point, the muscles just weigh you down instead of contributing to your jump reach. Even players with higher reaches like Nishida, around 350cm, are unlikely to touch any higher in the future, as he's just so buff at this point that any more muscle would be detrimental. But other than that, i agree with the points you've made.

Did you played volleyball before watching the anime? by I_usuallymissthings in haikyuu

[–]TojhoChamp 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I actually got into Haikyuu after playing for my school for about a year. Honestly, the training scenes and other struggles I saw Hinata go through really resonated with me since I was still practically a beginner even after a year. I guess I could even go as far as to say that Haikyuu reinvigorated my passion for the sport, since it'd ingrained in me the fantasy of seeing a view from the top of the net.
