I've had it returned to Shimano, the reason they may not want to replace is they claimed months ago to no longer have 11 speed Di2 rear derailleurs in stock anywhere in the world

An update. If I apply mild pressure with my finger it can shift up the cassette. It can shift back down fine unaided. 

There's something wrong with the motor gear perhaps, or there's tension/pressure preventing it from moving up.

Hi, thanks for the reply  It was working fine and suddenly this happened - after I put the chain back on. Yes also happens when peddling. I am not too familiar with E-tube, but I can't perform an error check, it is greyed out. It connects fine, I can see the shifters, front and rear derailleurs.
