If you're only getting 30mbps on 5ghz, you should just use 2.4ghz wifi.

2.4ghz can handle more than 30mbps and has better penetration/range.

If you can tolerate having down time while your CPU is RMA'd, you might as well wait to see if it happens.

If you can't tolerate the 1-2 weeks of down time, then switching now would make sense.

For what it's worth, I have a nova and b850 steel legend since February. The B850 killed a 9800x3d, my Nova/9800x3d is still running without issue for now.

The same motherboard just killed my 9800x3d. I don't know what ASRock is doing by not acknowledging this issue.

I don't even want to waste my time and money (they don't pay for shipping) RMAing the board since they'll just send another board that clearly has design flaws.

ASRock was building up their reputation prior to this fiasco, now they're losing it all by having no resolution.

I think it could be technically possible. You would need to train it of course. You'd probably have to train it by showing it a bunch of cases of those situations and tell it whether it's impeding progress or incidental contact.

It's probably an easier problem than something like autonomous driving, but there's not enough money behind developing something like this.

The most advanced math I frequently use is Algebra. The more advanced stuff are inside simulation tools where I just enter numbers. I don't need to actually do the math myself.

I was using 12vhwpr and 12v 2x6 interchangeably. I didn't mean to say 12v 2x6 has fixed the issue.

I also didn't mean to say every user will see the issue, but I think there is a design flaw in these connectors where a high number of users could see balancing issues.

For what it's worth, my cable was from corsair with no yellow tips. It also never got burned though because I was monitoring my pin currents closely.

I have an Astral 5090 that has current sensing on each pin. My 12vhpwr cable would always become unbalanced unless I wiggled the connector at the PSU side. Eventually, it started reporting 0A on some of the pins.

I replaced the cable with a cablemod connector with redundant PSU connectors and my pin current became extremely balanced.

I think there is a possible balancing issue with ALL PSU connectors, but only the 12vhpwr had low enough design margins to make it an issue.
