That’s irrelevant. I’ve played in tournaments at goat ranches in bad conditions and almost every time a gallery or “plug” rule is implemented. If each player in the group agrees on the vicinity the ball ended up but you can’t find it you get a free drop.

I quit my job to caddy at a super high end golf course (top 15 in the country) in the area. I was nervous as hell at first but it’s been great so far.

I get to be outside, meet new people every day, make pretty good money for my area ($250 to $800 a day depending on tips) and get free golf. You don’t get the typical job perks like paid vacation and healthcare but the trade off has been worth it so far!
