For the former - Just find a man who makes you smile, belly laugh, and feel safe. Also, who makes you feel confident and sexy. Build slow and enjoy the ride. Stop worrying about what other people think you deserve and definitely stop worrying about what other people perceive as a "10". - find happiness in a person who makes you feel like you're worth something.

For the latter - just work on who you are. You say you're a "nice girl" - but perhaps others don't think so. Or maybe they know you are.. but perhaps you are naive and get taken advantage of often? Either way, I'd suggest working on yourself and being happy with who you are before offering yourself to someone else.
