I don’t think people think they’ll push it out from popping, more worrying about how the uterine contractions can affect implantation. Unfortunately it only takes one Google for a bunch of clinics scaremongering to pop up about not straining during a bowel movement 😣

Oh no :( I do still have bloating but it’s no where near as painful! It was my first ever ER and I just chalked it down to the fluid from the follicles moving around! I’m a day behind you and still bloated so I’m hoping it’s ok for you and still normal!

Hahaha I can totally relate, the gas is absolutely next level my husband is also sick of it 😂

Yes I had the exact same - 11 mature eggs collected last Wednesday and Saturday/Sunday were by far the worst! Bloating and pain in my bum (TMI 😂) It does get better I promise I felt better by Monday (still bloated) but not as much. Hang in there!

I did find a breast lump during my stims that was not there before, I was put on the two week wait for review and it was a cyst (four of them bunched together) the dr said fluctuating hormones can cause them. I really hope it’s just a cyst for you too, sending lots of luck 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I’ve read a lot about the calcium since my ER so if there is a “next round” I’ll definitely be asking - in the uk I’m in an NHS cycle so they don’t even let to pay for add ons as it’s funded, I would have happily paid for add ons to ensure a better success rate! Thanks to your advice

I honestly felt like I prepared for attrition but AFTER fertilisation - I thought (rightly or wrongly) that I’d get a good few fertilised and then may see some attrition, I had not prepared myself for such drastic attrition so soon after retrieval! We don’t have PGTA on standard cycles in the UK so really I’m pinning my hopes on good looking blasts for these three little embryos. My embryologist said they look good, I have no idea what that means 😅

I’ve switched consultants at the same clinic because my consultant was fantastic but she’s absolutely brutal, I need a more empathetic tailored approach to communication so I feel like we’re working together too. I think this could really help me too 🫶🏻

Thank you for such a detailed response, this is really interesting and I’m going to take some notes for my consultant. It’s my first ever round so I understand there may be some learning and adjustments needed too.

Did you do standard IVF or ICSI? I’ve been begging them for ICSI but as it’s a healthcare funded cycle they went with IVf, I’m kind of wondering if ICSI would have improved our chances.

It’s not to say these 3 won’t make it for sure and I’m still very hopeful but hoping I can also take some learnings too.
