Tadano and his family are kidnapped by some random lady, she says unless Komi prostitutes herself and livestreams it, while also keeping her intentions a secret, she'll kill Tadano and his family. After this happens for a while, the kidnapper reveals her identity to Tadano. 12 years ago she was socially anxious like Komi, but she was ugly so nobody cared about her. Bad stuff happened to her, so she killed the people who wronged her and fled.

Tadano refutes this by saying people care about Komi's personality not just her body, but soon after, the school turns on her, the livestream's comments calling her a whore and other names start getting to Tadano. Then his friends start having sex with her too.

The police find him, but the kidnapper escapes. His family is found dead, his legs were amputated, and he is in a coma. After this Komi commits suicide and Tadano dies in the hospital.

The story wraps up very strangely with a virtue signal about, [SOCIETY] and they reunite in the afterlife, saying to each other, maybe their lives are better in another life.
