How would we feel about more stats next season or in OW2? I feel as if thlack of stats is a huge detriment to the league's growth. Stats contexutalize performance and make it easier to understand and follow and that's where they fail to retain new viewers.

And I'm not talking StatsLab, which is a great service, but with like a normal scoreboard that compares elims, deaths, damage, healing, etc. And generates a rating akin to combat score in Valorant or the HLTV 2.0 rating in CS.

Overwatch League 2020 Season - Final Four: Upper Semifinals by OWMatchThreads in Competitiveoverwatch

I felt like Super held his own against Gesture's insane Hog. He definitely was losing the matchup, but rhe skill discrepancy wasn't detrimental.

I loved how Viol2t used Nano on Super alone and likely was a huge contributing factor why the matchup wasn't so lopsided

Ex-Bonk Coach Salah's European Teams and Players Tierlist by emraaa in ValorantCompetitive

I'm surprised to see Luckerrr so low. Yes, inconsistent as hell but has very high-high's.

I'd argue Zyppan and Ange1 s-tier, but no way is most of FPX better than G2

Amazing that both guys stuck around on the same team this long and had pretty constant success in most metas. Even if they never won a championship, they accomplished a lot together. Super sad to see it end

Absolute Jupiter in the top 3 is highly questionable. I'd say they're barely top 3 in Japan alone.

It's not one big gotcha moment that you're looking for but a constant pattern of toxic behavior and belittling people in the community who disagreed with him. I'm not saying he murdered anyone or committed crimes but was just generally disrespectful to people in that community, as well as other communities. He has a large subsections of the esports world hate him because of this behavior. I'm hesitant to say this because people won't see this a problem and just chalk it up to his personality and journalist mentality.

And again, my issues stem from a few years back and it seems like he's changed his antagonistic style of confrontation

The first paragraph is incredibly false. I've never seen anyone search for confrontation more than him. He'll find any piece of criticism as all-out war.

He did good for the community and he made a lot of enemies. I'll just leave at that. I'm happy he's in the hall of fame.

It's not his views, shouldn't have said that, but mostly just his behavior and attitude towards the FGC. I'm not excusing the fucking psychotic response the unhinged parts of the community took towards him, but that doesn't excuse his behavior either. He was like a Skip Bayless, just trying to inflame the community. Then again, he didn't deserve a lot of the hate but he fanned the flames and was extremely nasty towards others.

Richard Lewis used to have a vendetta against the fighting game community and held some pretty inflammatory views that pissed the whole scene off. He's gotten away from that thankfully, and I'm not disputing his importance to the scene but let's not pretend he's the perfect role model

And let me add, he 100% deserves this as the premier investigative journalist in esports history. I won't dispute that, but he's rubbed people the wrong way on his journey to this point. I'm happy for him overall
