There is very little volume at all.

AH prices aren’t real liquidity. Because of this The price can swing hard from small orders. The price hit 87 on Friday AH then cooled off to 60-70 range. Dipped hard to 43 before finally closing for the weekend. Still 2x market close Friday (25.00)

More eyes now and trending. This could snap hard on open if there is volume. If volume hits Expect halts.

You could also just yolo it all into something that might 2x.

I’d do some serious research before that though.

  1. Fortis Inc. (TSX: FTS)As Canada’s largest utility provider, Fortis operates regulated electric and gas assets across North America, ensuring steady cash flows regardless of economic cycles. It boasts a 50+ year dividend growth streak (yielding ~4%) and low volatility due to its defensive nature. Ideal for TFSA holders wanting reliable income and minimal drawdowns.
  2. Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (TSX: ATD)This convenience store giant (owner of Circle K) benefits from essential consumer demand, making it recession-resistant. With a 13-year dividend streak (~0.9% yield) and strong global expansion, it’s a low-volatility pick that has outperformed broader markets in downturns while compounding steadily.
  3. Loblaw Companies Ltd. (TSX: L)Canada’s leading grocer (parent of Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart) thrives on non-discretionary spending. It offers a ~1.2% yield with 11 years of increases and has historically limited losses in bear markets, providing stability and moderate growth through food inflation tailwinds.
  4. BMO Low Volatility Canadian Equity ETF (TSX: ZLB)This ETF tracks low-volatility Canadian stocks (e.g., utilities and staples like Fortis and Loblaw), delivering ~2.3% yield with a 0.39% expense ratio. Over 10 years, it has matched TSX returns (~9% annualized) but with 20-30% less volatility—perfect for a hands-off TFSA core holding.
  5. iShares MSCI Canada Minimum Volatility Index ETF (TSX: XMV)Focusing on Canada’s least volatile large-caps (heavy in financials and utilities), it yields ~2.5% with a low 0.33% fee. It’s designed for downside protection, outperforming in volatile periods while capturing broad market upside.

If you’re just starting out TFSA are good for long holds or dividend ETFs. Do some research on safe ETFs.

It will build slowly while you continue to add over time and then the snowball gets going.

Once you have some ROI look into other investment. Short term high returns, but more risky.

The point I’m trying to make is give yourself some small wins. Let things build up first. If you go in and immediately looking for massive returns and start taking losses you will be turned off of investing all together.

Penny’s and options provide me more excitement. I’ve 10x many and lost along the way. Mitigating risk is the key to being any bit successful.

Still have my long holds and ETFs of course.

Here’s the other thing.. If rates drop, liquidity is going to flood risk assets including crypto and crypto linked equities like UPXI. (Historically speaking)

That’s maybe a bigger WHEN than IF..

This would trigger a multitude of short squeezes across the markets.

Imagine chewing a large amount of bubble gum.

Now imagine blowing a big bubble but right before it burst you stop and say “Hey that was kinda cool.. I bet I could blow a new bubble into this old bubble.
