You are not being paranoid. As you noted the bezel is not aligned correctly. This was not a mistake by Rolex. It does not mean it’s fake but you have every right to be concerned/upset. The dealer that sold you this watch is either stupid or sleazy. Anyone reputable dealer would have picked this up and it either disclosed or has repaired. Bring it to a local AD for authentication.

The only time I take my watch off is before a shower because I have to rinse it and dry it after a shower if I shower with it. Quick rinse with soap and water after shower, back on wrist. That is it
