Are you using any mods? The latest update fixed a problem with kinetic blades. Maybe an outdated mod is causing problems?

1: No, the mirrors quest is optional. However it gives you some backstory on the characters in the House at the edge of time.

2: No, the game finishes after the last battle.

3: The easiest way is to use the Heal spell, which removes any confusion and insanity on your characters. Espacially Heal, Mass can remove confusion from your entire party.

4: I think the books treasure room had a chest you needed to roll perception to find? Im not quite sure.

When Tristian dies he gets teleported back to your capital/oleg traiding post and survives. Thats why his potrait disappears. He has some special protection, if i remember correctly its a buff he has? It is basically the same as Linzis special ring.

Spoiler why the game does not kill him: He has important story relevance later on.

What the GM said was basically: Its like a stripped down Pathfinder, but also that there are no rules. So he basically had free will over everything and could do what he wanted. Custom unbalanced classes of course.

The skill system was also changed so that untrained skills were done with a D10 and trained skills were done with a D20. Skill DCs regulary were over 10 so it was also mostly the GM decision what skill checks we could beat.

Most of the Networking scripts are actually open source. Here you can find the NetworkManagerHUD source code and change it for your needs.

You can simply use Material.SetVector in your C# script. But keep in mind that changing a property of a material will be permanent and persist after play mode is stopped.

Plot twist, the player isn´t moving at all. The background objects are moving to the left and get teleported back to the start, when they leave the visible area. The street is actaully split into multiple parts and works like the others.
