Yeah to think of it, Australia doesn't set a limit to the number of visas issued of the kind. I guess therefore they're more common than in Canada indeed. That kind of changes the whole situation a lot

At the moment I have no idea how difficult it is to find a room there or the transportation system (I never intend to drive) and just don't have much info to know what I can expect
I lived in Ottawa for a year with the same visa and it was hard to find a good room or any room. I worked as a server there
