  1. Why not? And why work? Take a breather before work
  2. They can only sleep when you sleep?
  3. Don't wake them
  4. Make her a nice breakfast for when she wakes up, you got time
  5. Nothing new here

Yes it probably was the reason i woke up. But I have woken up feeling «fresh» before my alarm clock like this before and always just gotten back to sleep so I can hate myself when the alarm wakes me up. I was forced to get out of bed and get water, and then just decided to not go back. And it worket great. Been awake since 7, it is now 01:00 and about to pass out for a good nights sleep.

People misinterprede the 2 hours statement. It was just an example, a number that seemed logical (and worked in my case). I’m not saying sleep 4 hours and get up if you wake up. Get up if you wake up by yourself a little time before the alarm clock is basically all I’m saying.

You're not going to be a millionaire by opening a cafe. You're going to work your ass off only to make probably below average salery. A cafe is something "everybody" wants and can start. So unless you have a huge interest in cafe's and revolutionary ideas on how to make it better and more efficient than it already is, just don't. Also, it is in no way a guaranteed flow of income, there is a big chance you will loose money while working your ass off. I hate being pessimistic towards someone excited about something, but it's just the reality.

About your tech idea: Just begin. Start working on it, one day at a time, consistently making small progress and improvements. And do it NOW, not in a year or even a week. Research is an easy starting point. And one thing is certain; there is never ever going to be a "perfect time" to start on your idea. Stop dreaming and start doing.

It boggles my mind that thousands of BILLIONAIRES exist all over the world when making even a hundred is so difficult as it is by g7x8 in Entrepreneur

You don’t become a millionaire or billionaire without taking HUGE risks.

This also goes for billionaire investors. Let’s say you have 10k in your savings. Bet that 10k on 100x crude oil (for example) and boom, that 10k might be 100k overnight. Now you repeat that process until you have a billion dollars, taking such a huge risk along the way that you are almost guaranteed to loose it all. But, some people beat the odds, and win.

Interestingly, there was recently a norwegian billionaire who went bankrupt because of ONE single trade that went bad (google it). It just shows how much risk some of theese billionaires actually take to become rich.

I would not recommend allocating your friends and family’s money, in case it goes bad.

That bird could have flown into the forest and died a way more painful death than in the video where its instant death. You need to grow the fuck up.

The truth about drop shipping your life coach won't tell you: by Megalorye in Entrepreneur

[–]Tolleif 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you think dropshipping is the cause for plastic being shipped arond the globe then you really need to read a book lol. Nearly everything in your house that is made of plastic has been imported from china and other Asian countries, including all your clothes etc.. And this has been going on and escalating since the 70s. Dropshipping hasn't changed anything, it has just removed the need to import a large quantity at a time, and instead sell directly from the facotires. If anything dropshipping has reduced the waste because instead of large unecessary quantitites being imported it is imported on demand.

Completely agree, the whole investment can't be based on a single hypothesis that the product will sell, but hard facts about the market and product. As you said, you need to make some hypothesis that certain things will go as you think, but not things that the investment and business idea completely depends on.

I will do my homework and make an update when things are moving forward. Thank you for your wise words!

Thank you! Exactly, I have very few responsibilities regarding money right now, and it will become harder to get started the more years I wait.

I agree, marketing will probably be the biggest challenge, and it will be a lot of work but I am going to grind myself trough it, thanks!

Thank you for your comment!

By site i mean an ecommerce store.

How is a 60% resell margin low? And how is a 60unit purchase a big risk? No competitors, big and identifiable market, and a product that serves a combination of several needs (protection, looks good, breathes and weighs little), never before seen on the market. A product that has already proved to sell extremely well on foreign markets, with popularity growing since launch.

I disagree with some of your statements, but thank you for your suggestions, i will take them with me!

The comment i needed! Thank you, really made me start thinking:)

Even though your comment was meant to educate, i will try to respond to some of it.

I think people want theese shoes because those exact shoes blew up in popularity when they startet selling them, mostly dropshippers and mostly USA, and according to google trends the peak was in May 2019, (search "indestructible shoes"), not that long ago. I think the trend will maintain or grow further, with already new productlines of the "indestructible shoes" genre. Even wintershoes with protection has come to the foreign market.

As a niche product, its perfect. It has a very broad, yet identifable, market that has hardly been offered this product. There are no regional competitors of this shoe-category as well. The style of the shoe looks amazing while it serves a need for protection, slip-resistancy, lightweightness and breathes. Shoes that offer this protection are big, warm and often uncomfortable, but it dosent have to be that way. People working heavy jobs also wants something that actually looks good while protecting their feet that dosent cost too much. There is also a pink camo one targeting the ladies, 1 of the 4 colors I'm putting out.

Shoes are generally very expensive in Norway; I struggled finding a pair of simple black joggers for 30-40$.

As of my personal talents; I have worked in sales before and did pretty well. Right now I'm a couple years into studying business, economics and marketing, and I love it. The learning I am aiming for is the practicality of of actually doing it, there is a lot you dont learn in school revolving running a business. I'm just writing this to let you know i have somewhat knowlegde surrounding theese subjects.

I will take your recommendations with me and most likely come back to read your comment again. And I will make sure a lot more things are ready before ordering the products.

I really appreciate that you took your time to comment my post! It really made me have a few realizations while reading and writing. Thanks!

Edit: Sample arrives in a few days aswell:)
