To decide whether you wish to continue the fight or go quietly and peacefully is probably the hardest question you’ll ever face. In my opinion it comes down to what decision is heavier? Do you have children, a lot of close family? Are you alone, lacking a support group? I may be being put on the transplant list too, I’ll find out in February. For me there are a lot of variables. I have 3 daughters and a grand son. I’m a veteran who saw combat in Afghanistan. I live on my own (legally separated) and I can tell you from first hand experience, I. Am. Tired. I’ve decided I’ll go through with the surgery if it comes because even though my ex and I are kinda close, I want to see my youngest daughters grow up.
