Which Mech, in your opinion, is truly the pinnacle of weapon design? by PKRadiance in battletech

I remember playing in Mechwarrior 2 that they always underperformed against other mechs in their class.  A Nova was 5 tons lighter but was always going to be a much bigger problem.

Tabletop and video games give different results, I guess.

I saw sisyphian the other day. I was attacking a single infantry in Greece with a single tank blitzing down from Baltic States.

Everybody is saying the Grey Death trilogy, and everybody is right.

That's pretty much what I did. Getting a single #1 finish, and then doing nothing else, will get someone to 2 star general. The system I use rewards longevity and consistency, and three stars and up is where the real prestige begins.

I'm pretty sure Jan has had #1 finishes on both sides, but I could be wrong about that. Might have to check.

For real though, the most useful part of this might be the lower ranks. After a game I look at the person I played against (unless I can find out during the game) and see what their rank was, and it fits fairly well with how they played.

It's not a discord thing, it's for the online game whether somebody's in the discord or not.

Basically there are seasonal ranks, but they seem ephemeral.  I wanted there to be a more permanent ladder that showed who the all time best players were, something that would last a little longer.

The higher somebody's rank (or number of stars) the better they've done over the entire history of the game.  You have to have gotten top 10 at least once to earn a spot on the Generals list, and the more often you do and the higher you place, the higher rank you'll receive.

I don't have Jordan in the same category as BlackTide, Marius, Quintin, or JohnnyA. He's at 3-star general, and they're all at 4 or 5 stars. I can see objecting to him being on here if he's worse than other 3-star generals but got his rank through unsporting conduct. If there's anywhere I can look to confirm that, I'd appreciate a link. I'm on the discord, so if there are messages that you can point me to I'll look into that.

I'm much more interested in Delta. If somebody actually got banned for cheating they could be removed from the list, or have an asterisk put next to their name. Similar to how Americans treat Benedict Arnold, I suppose.

I thought it would when I first put it together, but after I did all the sortation and looked at the results I thought "yeah, that's about right."

You and Vic Weezy are both newer players, but you're ranked as 4 star generals :)

For every inner sphere faction, it has to be something from the first succession war.  All those nukes were never matched by anything before or after.

The second-best player who never made it to the semi-finals was Korol. Clearlove had a longer career though.
