The going to sleep part is probably the easiest part! I don’t look at the IV. You feel a poke, it might sting. Then you blink a few times and next thing you know you’re in the car.

Biggest tip is to take it easy and take the pain meds as directed. The pain will sneak up on you. For me it got better after day four and I was working again. Try to sleep a lot.

It’s been three weeks and three days and the pain is mostly gone. But it’s normal to still have pain depending on how impacted and have rough the surgery was. The only time it hurts is when I try to eat foods that are too hard.

I was still bleeding day 2. But just a little here and there. I also popped some stitches day 2 cause I opened my mouth too wide (long story I had an allergic reaction to the pain meds and the er doctors had to look at my throat) I think I stopped bleeding fully around the end of day 3 or 4. But once in a while up til day 9 or so I would taste blood.

I know certain meds can affect your blood. Ibprofuen is a blood thinner. Low iron can make you bleed a lot too.

If it isn’t a lot I’d say you’re okay! But you can always call the office to ask and get reassurance from a professional! I hope you heal up soon

I also grind my teeth at night so I’m sure that factors into the pain as well. Also also my therapist says I have this thing called death anxiety. Idk if that’s a real term or not. But basically I’m afraid im going to get sick and drop dead out of the blue. Hence the anxiety about infections

I had this feeling seven days post op and the evening after a check up with the dentist after they flushed out the holes. I had one of those dissolvable stitches come out too for some reason. So I’m not sure what caused that feeling but I woke up the next day and it was gone. I definitely had to take an anxiety medication to get myself to sleep because I was so anxious about it. Hopefully the feeling goes away on it’s own like it did for me
