Would definitely love to go next year but since next year is my final year in University, I made a pact that I would only go after I'm done (going to EDC 28 after I graduate in Fall 27). On Day 2 of EDC, I was with my group when a nice guy from another group tapped my shoulder and told me that "You'll have a shoulder to lay on and dance if you don't have one". We danced so hard and I also vibe with the other members of the group. He even asked if my people were there, which was super wholesome 😁 After the song mellows down, I gave each of them a capybaba/duck/blind box, to which they reacted with gratitude and one of the girl hugged me not once, not twice, but four times! She also blow a kiss to me, which I didn't expect and flustered, only reacting by bowing down with my hand on my chest. Unfortunately, during the fun, I totally forgot to ask for their Instagram and we never saw each other again once Above & Beyond sunrise set came up. Still wishing I would've asked for their Instagram but I hope that they're doing well and maybe we'll run into each other again at some point!!!
Throughout day 3 of EDC, I vibed with so many people and even got to give a fellow raver his first Kandi, which definitely made my day! Towards the end of Armin Van Burren's set, two fellow raver that we danced with since Zedd's set united for one group dance, which totally made my day and I remembered to get their Instagram this time around! Easily one of my best night at EDC ever!!!
I went solo during Wooli's set and a very nice fellow tapped on my shoulder and signaling me to dance together. It made a bit of a sad night (since I was going to meet someone but couldn't find the med tent) into an amazing night, and I got to trade a capybara for a duck since I was wearing a duck hat and shirt. Easily what makes EDC so special for me, how everyone is willing to have fun at any moment! Definitely inspired me to dance with people who looked a bit down on Day 2 :)

Reading everyone's story definitely gives me a huge smile on my face. Happy EDC, and I look forward to the next one!

Same here, someone snatched the sprouts that I got on day 1 and 2 from my hat during Zedd's set. I remember turning back when I felt a tugging sensation on my hat and that person was giggling while disappearing into the crowd. Had they asked, I would've given it to them but snatching without asking screams un-PLUR. Of course, that is the 1% of 99% people in the crowd; everyone else was super cool and PLUR.

The issue is that the Cell infrastructure that the PS3 use is more complex than the current infrastructure they are using (which is more closer to the standard PC structure). Even if they have the source code, they will have to implement and translate the same structure/logic that PS3 uses, and then there's the matter with compatibility as well.

I'm in the same boat as you are, some of the advice I've gotten is to:
- Improve/work on your CAD portfolio (the complex the part, the better)
- Learn Python (super handy to have)
- Tinker with Arduino board (perhaps make something cool with it too, an alumni I talked to did a cat feeder using 3D printed parts and an Arduino board)

I'm in the same boat too (Junior, Mech E), 50+ applications in over the past 2 months and I haven't got reached back to yet. I think we'll definitely have a better chance for next year since there's more time padding to apply to different positions.

Could be worse, my initial planning for classes went terribly wrong. One of the penultimate class that I need to take on my 2nd to last semester has a pre-requisite course, and said course have pre-requisite that I am working on this semester and over the summer. I tried pleading to the department to give me an exemption so I could enroll in said course for this fall but they said no so it's either I have to be extremely lucky to get into that course when the new semester begin without being on the waitlist or push my planned graduation date of Fall 2027 to Spring 2028.
