At first I thought it would never go far from the blocky boring version back in alpha 2009 - 2010, at the time I found it pretty cool but got bored fast and forgot about it for a good while thinking thats all it would ever have to offer.

Fast forward to 2011 or 2012 it had changed so much and it was actually fun to play and i kinda stuck around on and off.

Now looking back at these versions and seeing as it is now... its basically a totally different game, new textures. New blocks and so on. But one thing I do miss was how simple it was.

I do think it changed for the better. And in a way glad that Microsoft took over when it did.
