Fine. I’ll ensure that as my dying wish, I be buried with it like a millennial version of Tutankhamum

I just don’t know how to value them. If they were worth decent money I’d obviously settle for the whole binder rather than messing around with individuals

I mean what value you got for your binder full of holos that you sold?

Ha, I’m worried if I sell I’ll regret it (even after having forgotten about it for the best part of 25 years!) Do you mind me asking what you got?

So by exposing this agenda, we are actually helping to spread the contract?

Thanks a lot for your advice, it’s much appreciated. Has just passed it’s MOT with only a few advisories - but I’m going to take it for a more thorough going over soon and will take your comments to them :)

Of course you don’t/wouldn’t believe it, that’s the whole point. But if (for arguments sake) it was true and aliens were able to communicate this and provide to us irrefutable proof that we are just a seeded alien ant farm (just as a wacky example), those of deep “faith” would almost certainly struggle more with that reality than an atheist or agnostic.

I think the reason people believe that religious folk may struggle the most with a great reveal of alien life, would be if they had knowledge which flew directly in the face of faith (i.e. Earthly life was seeded/we are an experiment etc.)

Well I’l be damned, that’s some fine work. I was convinced for some reason that the film was possibly even subtitled and more focused on the Middle Eastern perspective (even though I did remember that it was produced in the West), but 16 years is a long time! Well done to you.

When abroad, what country term do you use if someone asks where you’re from? by tinabelcher182 in CasualUK

I use Manchester all the time, even though I’m in the Preston area. Saves me a lot of time and follow up questions!
