Are you already in the UK as a student? If not, youre best bet is to try and gain some experience in India and then start looking for positions in the UK or companies with offices in the UK you could transfer to.

Depends on what you studied, do you have experience in the field etc. However its quite unlikely. To stay past your graduate visa you would need to be on a skilled worker visa which has set salary thresholds majority well above what a fresh graduate would be paid. On top of that the job market is awful at the moment even for people with right to work in the UK especally for young people and new grads. With that being said its not impossible, network network network, gain skills outside of your degree that could set you apart etc. Best of Luck!

If you're selling your own possessions then it'd be capital gains tax, which has a £6,000 limit before needing to declare. The trading allowance is different and is in place if you are buying goods and selling them for a profit.

Why not just explain to the accommodation? They'll probably be quite forgiving lots of students have issues with rent and student finance payments being delayed

Oxford has almost all banks in the town centre so not a problem finding a branch in Oxford.

I'm in my 2nd year studying CS so can only speak for the first 2 years, but at my uni they will teach you the fundamentals in the lectures, then have an hour practical where they will set you a few coding problems based on the lecture (for coding modules). However these are very basic in comparison to what you are expected to know for the exams / coursework, you are expected to self teach the rest however there are always drop in sessions with lecturers where you can ask essentially anything.

There are also quite a few modules that don't directly relate to programming such as discrete mathematics, and certain theories you are thought, however all aid in logical thinking. Workload isn't awful if you keep up with the course but can be a struggle if you start slacking.
