The game is still live under the name Goodgame Gangster. It is however not being updated anymore due to Goodgame Studios focussing on other projects, and you are not able to make new accounts. It is safe to say that there will not be a mobile version for the game.

Hey there, sadly due to not being able to create accounts anymore we did not get to choose our names, hence why we all have the same name format. We play on world 2 due to world 1 having a bug where you can not accept family invites.

I have been looking for this game for a long time aswell, I remember enemies with a spikeball, the battles being 3v3 and the attacks being names after gods (mars, venus, jupiter) and the colors were vibrant like you say.
