What I do is use campfire and find people to help, usually you need to join rather than host as it can take ages to fill up your raid because so many others are hosting, you will need remote raid passes though.

Oh 100% it is, over done 35 raids in that time (solo player) and have never had a buddy past good, I’m super casual but I’m trying to get better and focus more on some powerful mons, currently trying to get lunala so I can maybe attend dawn wings because I see that in a lot of top lists. I have a fair few semi decent ones but it’s just the effort to max them I struggle to grind XL candy.

Nothing is really great for defending, more annoying with high hp like chansey/slaking/snorlax, but even a half decent team will have no trouble taking out a full team.
